Dr. Babe Westlake is an orthopedic oncologist specializing in the treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissues for children and adults. He was born and raised in Sparks, Nevada. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno he moved to Oregon where he completed medical school at Western University of Health Sciences and then orthopedic residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in orthopedic oncology at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the only orthopedic oncologist in Northern Nevada and is focused on providing high quality and compassionate care to his community. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, the outdoors and home improvement projects. Dr. Westlake is a member of the Connective Tissue Oncology Society and Musculoskeletal Tumor Society.
